Hi all....Theres a wonderful sketch by Gayle over at the Sugar Bowl this week.... and they would also like to see paper piecing.....
hmmmmm...... Got to say I've only ever tried paper piecing once before.... and didnt really get the results I was hoping for..... well thats an understatement actually..... it was a disaster!! lol!!

but I'm quite pleased with the results on this one, and I even got the thumbs up from hubby, who rarely shows an interest in anything craft wise!!....

Images ~Sugar Nellie windswept and Butterfly from the whiff of joy spring kit.
Coloured with- promarkers
Papers~ BG dasher BG figgy pudding DCWV oldworld
paper pieced areas~ DCWV oldworld
Ribbon ~ making memories
Flowers ~ woodware and paper punched centres
light doodling round the image with promarkers and accents added with rainbow glaze
Sentiment - 'just' done with rub ons, and 'because' handwritten

Paula, what great artistic beauties you've created! I love the ladybug and friends image. You did a fabulous job on your paper piecing. I watched a tutorial and one day I'll do it (not yet).
