Simply Sassy Blog hop!!

Hiya... Great to see you!!
I'm SO EXCITED to be posting this today!

Its my first Simply Sassy Blog hop, and let me tell you... these new images are AMAZING!!

You've been seeing sneek peeks over on the Simply Sassy blog this week, but you havent seen all of the images yet....
and today I'm showing you, your very first glance at 'Tiffany'
And I'll also be giving her away to one Lucky winner courtesy of Funky Kits... (More about that later)

If you didn't start at the The Simply Sassy blog... head back there to start the hop...

If you've been there already, then FAB... you are in the right place!

And now...... The gorgeous Tiffany!

I've coloured her with promarkers... and added her some Kraft 'wings' (Stamped with the large butterfly from the Greeting Fram Spotlight set)
The papers are allsorts... Prima, Basic Grey, Echo Park...
The sentiment stamp is from Whimsy Stamps... (Its actually a postage stamp, but I just stamped the text)
I used a stempelglede grunge scroll to ad a flourish at the top...
The large heart is cut from Basic Grey paper, and glazed with crackle glaze...
I've created the 'grass' with swirls from a hot chocolate stamp...
The mesh is from an old top
The metal 'wish' is a charm with the loop cut off...
a few heart buttons and doodling, and thats it....

The next stop on the hop is.....

But before you go... be sure to leave me a comment if you'd like to WIN 'TIFFANY'
I'll pick ONE lucky commentor, who will win the stamp I've used....

You have until Monday 19th Noon (GMT) to leave a comment, and I will announce the winner the following day!

Good Luck!!

Sketch Saturday #172 Hello you!

Good Afternoon all...
Yeah...I'm late again! You'd be worried if I wasn't ;)
Its Sketch Saturday time again...and Jo's come up trumps with another FAB sketch!
I'll be honest, I was dreading this sketch... not sure why...
I'm starting to wonder if I have a problem with symmetry...  (perhaps cos I'm a bit odd! ;))

anyways... in the end I didn't struggle as much as I thought I would... and I quite like the outcome...

Apologies for the rubbish photos, I made this card quite late yesterday... an there was NO light at all!
anyway...
The gorgeous stamp is one of my favourites from The Greeting Farm... Dahlia
I've coloured her with promarkers...
The papers are Echo Park Summer Days and Happy ays Available from Crafty Emmas Store...
The Brackets are a stamp from The Greeting Farm Spotlight set... You can get this fro a fab price at the mo from Quixotic Paperie

The 'hello' sentiment is made using individual letters from a mix of different stamps... some stamped directly onto the card, and some raised with foam pads on white card.
The 'You' is part of a sentiment from the greeting farm spotlight set...

To finish I've added some clouds cut from an Echo Park paper, and some doodled 'stems' with heart button 'flowers'

Thats about it...

Thanks for visiting today!!

Here for you...

Hiya peoples...
Sorry I'm not posting much at the moment...
As well as trying to get the house back in to 'some sort' of order after the summer holidays... and lots of 'behind the scenes' crafting, I'm also a bit preoccupied with family stuff and my MOJO has taken a bit of a beating...
I'm sure I'll be back to normal soon...
anyhoo... I do have something to share with you today....
Yesterday was my turn to share some inspiration on the Simply Sassy blog... but I was having trouble with blogger, and didn't manage to post on here...
so, a day late...here's a card featuring the SOOOO gorgeous Luv a Latte from Sugar Nellie...

I've coloured her with promarkers and pencils...
The papers are a mix of MME and Prima...
The tabs at the bottom are just circles punched from Kraft, cut in half ...
I've stamped a teeny heart onto each one for a bit of interest... the stamp is from an old elzybells set
(Thanks Jane)
the little swirls are also from this set... and are actually from a hot chocolate mug... I just stamped the bit I wanted...
The 'here for you' is the text from one of the whimsy stamps postage stamps sentiment set...
doodling, flowers, ribbon and enamel accents.... and thats it!

I'd like to enter this card into the following challenges...

My Time to Craft- Just between Friends
Sentimental Sundays - Thinking of you/Sympathy

Thanks for visiting today!!
