This time I made a MANS card..... only because I needed one.... I really didnt want to make it!!

and its the first time in AGES I've used a Penny Black stamp!

My Time to Craft, Spoonful of Sugar....

Evening....
I have another card to share tonight.....
This time I'm entering the My Time to Craft challenge {elegant rose} and a spoonful of sugar challenge {freestyle/anything goes}

I'm actually really chuffed with this card.... its another quite simple one, but I like it!
I really loved the sentiment, and wanted to make the card work with it, so I have my gorgeous Melinda image sitting in a 'sort of ' clock face which I doodled myself....

Said I'd be back didnt I....I've got 2 cards to share this time....
First up is my entry for the current Sugar Bowl Challenge, which is an awesome sketch from Kathy... wasn't sure if I could make it work for me at first, but I actually quite like the result!


I've rotated the sketch, because it fit my image better...

Been really thrifty on this one.... the grey background paper, isn't paper at all!! its the inside of the back cover of a paperpad!! I actually think it looks quite good... and normally I'd have just thrown it away!! makes me think about things differently now! the heart, I doodled myself to match the hearts in the image... alot simpler than my usual messy style, but I think this is a bit more 'me'...

Next up is my entry for Sketch and Stash where you'll find another FABBY Sketch from the lovely Becky....

Now I don't know what made me realise this , but I don't think Ive ever made a purple card! infact, I hardly use purple at all!! and I don't really know why cos I do love purple!! one of lifes great mysteries....
So I've made up for my lost purple time, and gone PURPLE CRAZY!!!! check this out....

Whiff Of Joy #63 a recipe

Good Evening....
Well its a while since I entered any challenges, so today I've been on the hunt and I've managed to make 4 cards!!! that really is some sort of a record for me!! think I've found my Mojo finally!!
My first post is my entry into this weeks Whiff of Joy Challenge, which this time is a choice of recipe.
Choose either 4 patterned papers~3 bling~2 flowers
OR 3 patterned papers~2 bling ~ 1 flower

I went with the 4~3~2 option....

Sketch and Stash Challenge 26

Hi Everyone!!

Hope you are all coping okay with the awful UK weather? the snow has started to melt a little here, but we keep having little snow showers which is just turning straight into slush... I think thats worse than the snow and ice!!
We are due more apparently over the next couple of days....sigh!!



Wanted to join in with the sketch and stash challenge this time, as I just LOVED the sketch....

My new stash is: The gorgeous Sugar Nellie stamp, the yummy papers ,and the pearls (all Xmas Pressies).... my neglected stash is the chipboard flower... I bought them AGES ago from hobbycraft... but have only used one out of the pack!!! they come as plain board and you cover them, so i've used papers to match, and sanded the edges.... think I need a little more practice at that though...;)

Passion For Promarkers Challenge Sketch by Michele

Over at the Passion For Promarkers challenge there is a sketch to follow designed by the lovely Michele... I had to have a go when I saw it, but I can tell you I struggled with it!! few too many layers to cope with!! The PFP DT girls made it look amazing though!!

Sugar Bowl Challenge Lilians Sketch

Evening all...

Well I'm entering my first challenge of 2010.... I had some yummy new Sugar Nellie stamps from my MIL and FIL for Christmas (thankyou!!!) and this beauty was the first to be inked up and shown some colour.... you know how I love my Leanne Ellis images!!!

and what better sketch to follow than the amazing one designed by Lilian for the sugar bowl challenge? Lilian also wants us to incorporate something 'New' into our creation... I hope a new stamp, and new papers counts?
