Sketch Saturday #75 Happy halloween!!!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN EVERYONE!!!!
I'm up SO late this morning..... slept like a log!! my hubby left for work at 5 this morning, and I didnt notice he'd gone till about 8!! and let me tell you he is NOT quiet in a morning!!
Anyhoo now I've got to rush to catch up on a million and one things before the pumpkin carving I promised I'd do.....
good news is I'm off out tonight, so hubby can cope with all the lovely trick or treaters!! ha ha!!
If they are anything like last years I think he'd be better just turning all the lights out and pretending not to be in.....
we had this one group that came round, it was quite early in the night so we had plenty of mini sweet bags to go round..... then about an hour later they came back.... well by this time we'd had a few other 'visitors' so all we'd got left was crisps..... off they trotted a bit disgruntled but I suppose crisps was better than nothing.....
bugger me if they didnt come back AGAIN a bit later...well we'd got nothing by this time... so we very politely explained that they had already been twice, and that we really didnt have anything to offer them..... they wandered off mumbling to themselves, and we closed the door...... next thing we know half a dozen eggs have been hurled at the living room window!!!!! can you believe that!!!! little ****s !!
Trouble is my Son loves halloween, and we have to carve pumpkins and put them in the window EVERY year, and he stands there and waits for the trick or treaters!!!
any hoo.... as I said i'm off out..... hee hee!!

As I'm not really likely to need a halloween card, I decided to make a little sweet tin, which we are going to take up to grannies in a bit..... (hope she doesn't think i'm making any 'witchy' suggestions!!)

I'm on a roll...... Another 2 card post!!!

TAA DAAAA!! its me again! Okay, so I didn't post yesterday, but I still think i'm doing well this week!.....

Managed to join in with a couple more challenges (yey me!) First up is Secret Crafter who have asked for Orange and one other colour.... I chose Brown. This card also fits with the Stamptacular Sunday challenge 'it's Fall ya'll'.... (which means they want you to create a fall themed project, or use fall colours.....).... be sure to pop over to both challenge blogs... there is some amazing inspiration on display!

I don't know why but this sketch really scared me!! , had to join in though ...as you know I like the ones that really are a challenge... ;)

I rotated the sketch 90 degrees to fit my image better....

Realised I'd not gone doodling mad for a while, so made up for it on this one.....

And just noticed my ribbon is a bit squiffy.... grrrrr!!! oh well, as I always say to my hubby 'its handmade!! its not meant to be perfect!!'

LOL!!! thats my excuse!!

Nope, you are not seeing things, I really am posting 2 days in a row....... and even more suprising than that...I'm actually posting 2 cards at once!!!

My MOJO does seem to be popping in every now and then, so I make the most of each visit!

My first card is for the current Sugar bowl challenge..... a fabulous sketch by Kathy (and a 'please include' of lace)... I'm gutted that I missed Tiets' sketch last time... I lost a week somewhere!!

Colour create challenge ALL WHITE!!

Hiya!!
Well here I am with the card I promised on saturday... it has taken me till now to photograph it!!
Have you ever tried to photograph a white card!!! OMG! I tried every conceivable setting on my camera, every spot in the house..... you name it I did it..... and still its awful... but at least you can actually see what its meant to be.....
this is my entry for this weeks colour create challenge which is a challenge to create an entirely white card (image colours excepted) I knew straight away that I had to join in... I like the tricky ones!!!

I love the simplicity of this, and plan to make lots more... but I won't be photographing them!!

Sketch Saturday 73.... and missing MOJO...

Morning all....
Sorry I've not posted anything for a week.... I've only gone and lost my mojo!!!.... checked everywhere, down the back of the sofa, and the washing machine.... the works!! but to no avail....
I'm so annoyed with myself, cos I just can't get motivated to craft!! bit of a bugger when I now have DT cards to make!!....
This is my scond attempt at my DT card for this weeks Sketch Saturday (the first went in the bin!) I'm not entirely over the moon with it but it aint gettin' any better now.... (and the papers stuck on squiffy....grrrrr!)

It Saturday already...where did that week go??? havent felt much like crafting this week, been feeling a bit off colour.... I'm glad I got my Sketch Saturday DT card done early!!.....(still feels weird saying that...LOL!)

To create the background I used just the flowers from the Sugar Nellie 'Blossom' Stamp, and stamped them randomly in a line.... then drew a few bits of 'grass' with a promarker.... the edges were creating by using a scrap bit of paper that I'd punched a leaf out of as a stencil... and then added a few dots with a red promarker....

Whiff of Joy 'Willow' in apricot and cool aqua..

Hi All!!...

Well, me and my Son have both got up today with bad stomachs... so he's lying on the sofa with his emergency quilt ( lol... he's always called it that)...
and I'm running around fetching drinks, and passing him his book, and nintendo DS... passing the remote control.....etc etc.... I'm managing to 'ignore' my ailments for now, but I dont think it will last....

Thought I'd have a go at the Whiff of Joy challenge again this week, the sketch is fabulous....and there is an awesome prize up for grabs.They are also celebrating their Birthday with a blog-hop, so loads going on... pop over to join in the fun.....
I'm also entering this card into the Passion For Promarkers Challenge, they are asking us to use the colours 'Apricot' and 'Cool Aqua'..... great colour combo ladies!!! and also to make you own flowers...

Sketch Saturday #71 Rias DT week and Pet theme

Here I am with my very first DT card for Sketch Saturday!!! its so exciting!

Its Rias DT week this week and she has designed an awesome sketch..it was so much fun to work with...
