Hi again....
Blimey its been a few days hasn't it!!
Heres my entry for this weeks Sugar bowl challenge...which is a fabby sketch from Kathy.... I rotated it so it fit the images I wanted to use...
Now this hasn't turned out anything like it looked in my head.... I think perhaps I should have used a plain ribbon... still, its done now so.....

Friday Sketchers 66 ... Manga girl 'Eva'

Hi again....I'm back!!!
I really don't know whats wrong with me at the minute, I can't stop crafting!! I do suspect that very soon I will just crash and burn and you will hear nothing from me for weeks!
But for now, I'm still on a roll.....
Theres is a fabulous sketch over at Friday Sketchers I especially love the idea of adding embellishments around the base of the circle.....

I love these Sugar Nellie Manga Girls so much!!! I've decided to call this one 'Eva' beause I think she looks great with my favourite Basic Grey Eva papers...

Wahey....2 posts in one day!!! how about that?

I've had a crafty day today, and done nothing else.......
The first card I've got to show you is for the Sketch and Stash challenge....I really liked this sketch, although I did stick my image on a bit wonky, I hope it still qualifies!!? My new stash is the Gorgeous Sugar Nellie stamp, well actually its sort of new and neglected, i've had it for a few weeks but not inked it up.... shame on me!
and Secret Crafter have challenged us to use Turquoise and Brown.... which is a FABULOUS colour combo...
anyway enough waffle heres my card...

Passion For Promarkers ..My first time....

Yes thats right.... despite my addiction to these yummy pens.... I am a Passion for Promarkers virgin....

I had a little time spare today, and was determined to join in.... especially as I have all the colours for this weeks challenge...YIPPEEEE!!
The challenge is 'Passion For Purple' use at least 2 Purple Promarkers.... I've used 4.....

Sketch Saturday #64 thinking of you.....

Hi all!
I didn't get chance to mention it in my last post, as I was rushing to enter a challenge last minute! ....but Welcome to my new blog!!!
I've imported all my old posts from my 'justforthequack' blog...and you will now find all future stuff from me right here......

Over on sketch saturday there is an awesome sketch to follow..... I picked everything out ready... coloured my image and then realised i didn't have anything to use as an oval shape!
hmmmmm.....
after a while i had a lightbulb moment and drew what i hope looks like an oval twisty branch type thingy.....

went a tiny bit mad with my martha stewart punch...lol made some flowers using it and used it to round the corners....

Sugar Bowl... Judys sketch + handmade flowers

OMG! Talk about in the nick of time! i've got literally 1 minute to enter this!!
This week over on the Sugar Bowl there is a fab sketch by judy with the 'please include' option of handmade flowers.....
heres my effort.....

flowers made using an xcut flower punch, and circle punch (cut into spirals and rolled round a cocktail stick)

Another 3 in 1......

Well I've got to say, I looked at Sandras sketch over on Sketch Saturday and just thought 'WHAT?' but I did like it, and I wasn't going to let it beat me...took me a while though!!!
Cute Card Thursday this week want the colour scheme Teal and Red... I adore this colour combo, so had to join in!
Creative Inspirations have asked for Doodling.... pulls me in every time.....lol!
Done a bit of recycling on this card.... the fabric is from a tag off a pair of jeans...told my hubby I'd use it eventually!! the buttons were also spares with the jeans...
I wasn't sure this card would ever come together right, but I'm quite pleased with the result...

Sugar Bowl 16 Marlenes Sketch + Doodling

Hello!!.... slowly trying to get back to updating this blog regularly....
When I saw the Sketch over on the sugar bowl this week I had to join in.... and with the added extra of doodling.... I was sold!!
I rotated the sketch (hope thats okay?) because no matter how I tried I just couldn't make it work for me 'right way up'
