WOW, 2 special awards!!

Hi all...
Normally i'm not too good at keeping up with awards, but these are just too special not to mention, mostly because I recieved them from the gorgeous Holly
Holly is just 4 years old, and has a fantastic blog, you really must pop over if you havent already...

Now then, the reason I don't normally keep up with awards is because, i'm rubbish at choosing who to pass them on to, and because sometimes (like in this case) I have to tell you all 5 facts about myself, and I can never think of anything interesting to put!!!

But I really should start 'playing by the rules' so.....
5 facts.....

1: I HATE mushrooms... how can people eat them? I imagine its like eating slugs.... !!!
2: When I was younger, I had a bizarre crush on....wait for it Cliff Richard (LOL!!) please don't ask why, I haven't a clue!! This illness passed, and I'm now fully recovered!!
3: I LOVE jelly babies....
4: I'm a redhead...(shhh, don't tell anyone!!) and I hate it......
5: I'm only 4ft 11 tall!!! My 9 year old son is almost as tall as me!

god that was hard!!!
I'm not sure which award is the one that has the 5 facts thing attached to it, so i'm awarding both to the same 5 people.....

Sketch Saturday and Penny black Lets get dotty!!

Hi all...
I really don't like doing this but i've had to combine 2 challenges !!!
This is my card for both Sketch Saturday 34...which is a brilliant sketch to work with.....and Penny black Saturday challenge for which the theme is Lets Get Dotty!!

Now I did take the 'dotty' theme rather literally wouldn't you say?? Dots everywhere!!!
My fav bit of this card though, is my Recycled bit... which is a little leather circle tag, which came off my hubbys new shoes...LOL!! had to cover up the bit that says 'leather upper' so i added a punched circle and a spotty brad..LOL!! hubby thinks I mad, going 'I'll have that!!' everytime he goes to throw anything away!!
anyway...
My adorable Penny black image has been coloured with promarkers and pencils...
Papers are basic grey Offbeat and Archaic
Ribbon ~American crafts

Penny Black week 31 colour scheme

Good Evening!!
Well I think I might just have got this one in at the last minute!!
This is my offering for the Penny Black Saturday challenge.... which this week is a Pink and Brown colour scheme....
I knew I would have to join in on this one as soon as I saw it, pink and brown is my fav colour combination!! I picked out my image and papers last Saturday, and my image was coloured Sunday..... but then things just went wrong, and I had to rush to get them turned into something tonight so I could make the deadline!!!

anyway right at the last hour...heres my card....

My First Ever ATC....

Yesterday I decided I'd have a go at making an ATC...after spotting them on various blogs...and admiring them.
I really can't believe I haven't attempted one before!! and I think I'm actually going to use up all my little scraps of paper that I probably would have struggled to use otherwise...
Although I have to admit, I did struggle with doing things on a 'small scale' ...lord knows how people manage inchies!!!
anyway...heres my first attempt... and my entry for the Tilda and Friends ATC challenge..... which incidentally you don't have to use a Tilda image for now... but I decided I would as they are a fab size...

The theme is New stuff.... and my 'new stuff' is my Basic grey 'sugared' and 'eva' papers.....
Tilda is coloured with promarkers and colouring pencils (again!) and I've added a few doodled bits, and handwritten 'cherish'.....

Sugar Bowl *1* Sketch by Tiets...

Okay sit down...... 3! yes you read it right....3 posts in one day!! I'm determined to fulfill my promise!!
So heres my entry for another challenge.... this time its the brand new sugar bowl challenge... and the sketch by Tiets is Awesome!! It scared the life out of me at first.... but was so lovely to work with....

Magnolia Vs Stampavie *8* Thank you sketch

Hi all.....
Well its been a while..... Nearly two months since I last posted!!! I really am a rubbish blogger! I've given myself a kick up the backside.... and made a promise to myself to enter at least 3 challenges a week..... so heres my first....
The challenge this week over on Magnolia Vs Stampavie is A fab sketch.... and a Thank you theme....

I have no idea what the problem is with my camera...I'm just completely incapable of getting a clear photo of this....
anyway....I've coloured my Tilda with a mix of pro markers and bog standard colouring pencils for a bit of shading....
