Helloooooo, and Happy Saturday...

Forgot to schedule my post again....oops!!

We've just got in from another LOVELY long walk... all exhausted now, so just grabbing something to eat, and then I reckon it will be a VERY early night!

I have had my eye on the super cute monsters for a while, so I was so excited to be able to choose one to play with... only trouble was it was so tricky to pick a fav....

I finally plumped for these two fellas... and I'm so pleased I did...

The Stamp is me and pops and is FAB to colour...

its been coloured with promarkers...

the papers are MME, and Prima

The diecut letters are from a crate paper kit, I've coloured over the original colour with a promarker, as they werent as bright as I wanted.

couple of buttons, and a load of doodling, and thats about it...

A Card for Mum, and a few challenges...

Good morning, just a quick post today to share a card I made for my MIL's Birthday...

Bit different for me this one... NO colouring (well just a teeny bit)

The photo is a bit blurry...sorry!! I didnt have time to retake it before we delivered it yesterday!

Papers are a mix of MME and pink paisley...

The text paper was a free download from melstampz

The sentiment was a free download from my lovely spy friend Marit (in joke)

The Butterflys are Hero Arts (Bought due to fab inspiration from the lovely Deirdre

The 'Mum' is handdrawn, as are the flower stems...

flowers are punched and shaped, and a gem added to the centre...

few more gems, and a bit of edge doodling, and thats it!

Goooooood Morning!!!

WOW hasn't it been glorious weather in the UK???

We've been enjoying getting out and about... hopefully as you are reading this we will be off out for a nice long walk with the dog... she's going through a phantom pregnancy at the moment bless her, and She's NOT a happy bunny :(

So we are trying to keep her mind occupied with other things...

anyhooo... thats not why you are here...lol!!

Heres my DT card...

The Digi is from Elisabeth Bell and is called Pati's Kisses

isn't she just THE most adorable little thing you've ever seen???

I've coloured her with promarkers.

The background has been created using various sentiment stamps and a bit of doodling... I've then coloured over the whole panel with a dusky pink promarker, and chalked and distressed the edges.. I quite like it!

I've used canvas and brown card for the main Background... and distressed them a bit using chalks.

The green paper is MME

Finished off with a couple of bits of American crafts ribbon, a few staples, and gems from my stash...

and of course, a teeny bit of doodling...

Good Morning... and Happy Saturday!!

Today I'm sharing... yep you guessed it! my Sketch Saturday DT card!!

This week Jo is having a break, and Sem has designed us a fabby sketch...

And heres my card following it...

The gorgeous Carousel Horse is from Whimsy stamps, who are our fabulous sponsors this week...

I bought this stamp a while ago when I got a request to make a card for someones mum, who loves horses....

This is only the second time I've used it, but I think its SO beautiful!!

I'm making a second card the same as this so both mine and hubby's mums get the same mothers day card...

I've coloured the image with promarkers and pencils..

The main BP is canvas, and I've also used canvas to make the bottom flower...

all the text is handwritten, and I've added a few diamonds, and another flower from my stash...

Hiya!!

YEP its THAT time again.... Sketch Saturday!!!

its another fab sketch this week from Jo!!

I cheated this week... in that there are meant to be triangles in the sketch, and I couldn't get my head round that!! I'm not very confident with funny angles on my cards, so I substituted the triangles with some swirly watery planty type thingys for my mermaid...

All the elements are there, so I hope I've gotten away with it... I havent been told otherwise... LOL!!

although... I did sort of sneek it in without saying anything.... shhhhh!

anyhoo.... here it is...

I've coloured the beautiful Sweet November mermaid with promarkers...

The fish and Sea horse came with various other mermaids...

I've added diamond glaze to them...

The papers are MME....

Sentiment is from the Amy R summer sentiments set...

And I've added a few glass beads, and little gem stickers..

I'm BACK!!!!! Did you miss me??....

Well, after an EXTREMELY long break, I'm finally back to fulfilling my DT duties, and hopefully will be posting ALOT more on this blog!

Life just got in the way for a while I guess!!
